It’s been a long week lol, very busy with work.
Spook our (almost!) 15 year old moggy has decided she is now our permanent sous chef 😂, Macy our other cat can’t be bothered!
We managed to get out in the garden last week and get it ready for planting, got a bit more to do tomorrow. We also half filled the raised veg bed and covered with fleece, ready for the veg! Think we are going to do beets, cabbage, sprouts and maybe corn.
We had a long walk through Felthorpe and Horsford Woods today, having a look for reptiles, but no luck. However we got a good look at a gorgeous tawny owl, saw 3 buzzards, meadow pipit, skylarks plus loads of other birds, too many to list. I managed to have a great recording session with my parabolic microphone which was fab!
It was fab to see all the blossom starting on the trees, pussy willow opening up too, a few insects and some of the daffodils in bloom. Didn’t take a photo of the daffs as want to wait till more are out, so its a better picture.
It’s a full moon tonight, a snow moon, known as this because generally there is a lot of snow in February 😊
Here are a few photos from this week, plus a video of the birds singing.
Enjoy. Peace, Love and Light 🙏💜
